The Quincy Market building marks the entrance area to the Faneuil Hall Marketplace. The Faneuil Hall building (a red brick building) is an historical meeting place where political rallies were held in previous centuries. The food market built around it was greatly expanded in the 20th century to include rows of shops, restaurants, bars and pubs.
