Flying into Boston Logan Airport

Getting Around Boston

Airports - Logan International Airport is the largest airport in New England and is located in East Boston. Logan is easily accessible by car via Route I-90, or by following I-93 to the Callahan Tunnel, to Route 1A North. The MBTA's Silver Line runs from South Station to each of Logan Airport's terminals. South Station connects to several other public transportation lines. The MBTA's Blue Line stops at the Airport Station, where you can take a free Massport shuttle to your terminal.

Shuttle service - If you are heading to Logan from the suburbs, or vice versa, the Logan Express bus service makes regular trips from Braintree (south), Framingham (west), Peabody (north) and Woburn (north). Another option is taking a shared van. Several bus lines offer service from Logan to other areas of New England.

Pick Up - Logan has added a "cell-phone lot" - an area where you can wait for a passenger to arrive.

Convention Centers - The Seaport World Trade Center and the Boston Convention and Exposition Center are near South Station.

Other larger airports about an hour or less from Boston are located in Providence, RI, Hartford, Conn., and Manchester, NH.
