Massachusetts Skiing

The mountains in Massachusetts aren't quite as large as those of its neighbors to the north, but there's still good skiing to be had. Atmosphere counts, and the Berkshires can be a scenic and peaceful place to explore the outdoors.

Most of Massachusetts downhill ski resorts are in the Berkshire Mountains in Western MA. Wachusett, in the central part of the state, is a good-size mountain by Massachusetts standards (22 trails), and popular with families.
