Martha's Vineyard Hotels and Inns

The island of Martha's Vineyard has several distictive areas, each with its own feel. Vineyard Haven, where a ferry from Woods Hole on Cape Cod will drop you off, is a dry town with historic homes. Oak Bluffs is most recognizable by its brightly painted Victorian homes and gingerbread cottages. Edgartown is an old whaling town where you'll find many preserved whaling captains' homes. And the western section of the island, known as "up-island," is a quiet, less settled area.
